Arijit Singh to return to television with a music reality show

Singer Arijit Singh, who has mesmerized us with his soulful renditions on the big screen, is all set to return to the small screen with a music reality show – ‘Raw Star’. He will be a fitting mentor to the contestants on the show.

The singer has already shot for the promo which will be aired on August 20 on Life OK. There were rumours that the show will be aired on Star Plus, but now it has been confirmed that the show will be aired on Life OK.

It’s a great news for Arijit, who had been mired in controversies due to his fallout with Salman Khan three years ago. The infamous fallout was the cause of Arijit losing out on the romantic track ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ from ‘Sultan’ to Raahat Fateh Ali Khan.

But now that he has landed a plum offer from television, we are sure that he’ll prove himself by being an able mentor. Not to forget, Arijit Singh started his singing career from the small screen with shows like ‘Fame Gurukul’ and ‘Indian Idol’ earning him name and fame.

As far as his playback singing is concerned, Arijit has crooned for the latest track ‘Lo Maan Liya’ from the movie ‘Raaz Reboot’ starring Emraan Hashmi and Kriti Kharbanda.
