Arijit Singh’s mother hospitalized; Dil Bechara actress Swastika Mukherjee shares an SOS message

Singer Arijit Singh’s mother is hospitalized in Kolkata. On Thursday morning Dil Bechara actress Swastika Mukherjee shared an SOS message on her Instagram and Twitter handles informing everyone that A-blood group donors are needed for Arijit’s mother.

“Need A- blood for singer Arijit Singh’s mother, admitted in Amri Dhakuria. Need it today. Pls contact @swatihihihi with verified MALE DONORS (sic),” she wrote with a caption, “URGENT SOS SOS PLS AMPLIFY.”

Director Srijit Mukherjee had also requested people to help Arijit in this difficult time. He tweeted in Bengali seeking help for donors for Arjit’s mother.

We wish Arijit’s mother to get donors as soon as possible and return home hale and hearty.

Talking about Arijit, he recently made his debut as a music composer with the movie Pagglait, which featured Sanya Malhotra in the lead role. The music and the songs are very much raved by the music lovers. Recently, Arijit shared his experience on working on Pagglait. He told Bollywood Bubble, “Whenever I work on any movie, I always find the written script and shot script different, but this one had unique sync between the script and the way it was shot. It was the same vibe so there wasn’t a need for rework and I was emotionally involved in the script and the silence in between spoke so much, that it had a specific dynamic in the narrative and that’s done wonderfully.”
