Actor Arjun Kapoor collaborated with filmmaker Mohit Suri for the first time for Ek Villain Returns. The actor essays the role of Gautam in the film and Arjun is overwhelmed to have worked with the filmmaker. Ahead of its release, the actor took to his Instagram and dropped a BTS picture with director Mohit and his co-star Tara Sutaria where he expressed his gratitude towards Mohit Suri for offering him such a complex role.
The Ishqzaade actor even thanks the filmmaker for believing in him and working with him will always be a cherishable moment for him. “Collaborating with some filmmakers is always an enriching experience. Working with Mohit Suri has always been cherishable for me and I thank him with my whole heart for giving me Gautam with Ek Villain Returns. A layered character with so many facets made feasible only with the vision of Mohit Suri. Gratitude for him believing in me for this extremely special film. Look forward to working on more massy and meaningful content in the future.”
Bollywood Bubble gave 3 stars to Ek Villain Returns where the reviewer praised Arjun’s performance in the film. A part of the review read, “From his intense gaze to his action sequence, Arjun aced in all departments. After Gunday, seeing Arjun in this one was quite pleasing. He’s the best out of the four as he steals the show in this ensemble and you can’t doubt that! I would definitely love to see Arjun exploring his potential.”

Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor essays the role of Gautam in Ek Villain Returns. The film will be hitting the big screens on July 29. The film also stars Disha Patani, Tara Sutaria and John Abraham. The film is helmed by Mohit Suri and is said to be the sequel to Ek Villain which starred Siddharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh.
