Arjun Kapoor

Karan Johar’s fifth season of ‘Koffee With Karan’ gave us a memorable term “nepotism”, all thanks to Kangana Ranaut wo called KJo the “flagbearer of nepotism”. That was enough to instigate a war of words between the two post the episode and give everybody a new word to debate on. We are pretty sure that not many were even closely aware of the word before this episode. From that day till now, we have every celeb giving their opinion on nepotism. So, when actors Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor were promoting their upcoming movie ‘Half Girlfriend’, this question was bound to arise. Arjun was quizzed whether nepotism exists in Bollywood, to which he replied that it exists everywhere. He said, “In every business, parents want their children to be a part of their profession and if the child is interested, then they educate him and make him capable of working in their profession. It happens in all the fields. Of course, it is a bit easier for us, but at the end of the day, it is business. A director won’t take us at a point of time where we are not saleable. So you have to be worth it.”

Talking about the movie ‘Half Girlfriend’, the movie is slated to release on May 19, 2017.
