Arjun Kapoor‘s mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, had wished his son to make it big in the film industry and feature with megastar Amitabh Bachchan. And Arjun has just fulfilled his mom’s wish in his upcoming film ‘Ki and Ka’, wherein he is set to share the screen space with Big B.
On March 24, it was Mona Shourie’s fourth death anniversary and the handsome hunk got all emotional and posted his childhood picture with his mom. Later, in an interview with a daily, he expressed the void that has been created in his life because of the absence of his mother. He was quoted saying, “The last four years have had their shares of ups and downs. She left a void in my life that I’ve been unable to fill, choosing instead to immerse myself in work. There are things I no longer take for granted. I get up, go out there and live my life. It can be extremely lonely at times.”
Apart from this, we also got to know that Arjun’s mother had tweeted Amitabh Bachchan expressing her wish to see her son doing a film with him, before she dies. But unfortunately, she passed away even before Arjun’s debut film ‘Ishaaqzaade’ could make it to the theatres. Now with ‘Ki & Ka’, which will hit the theatres on April 1, 2016, Mona Shourie’s wish will come true.
