Arjun Kapoor gets inked; says, “Its accurate, intimate and personal”

Arjun Kapoor has been on a revelation spree as he just unveiled his new hairdo. Now, he has taken to his social media to reveal his new tattoo. He says it took him some time to figure it out as he wanted it to ‘mean something very special’.

Arjun Kapoor has finally got his second tattoo. It is a Latin phrase ‘Per Ardua Ad Astra’ that means ‘from adversity to the stars’. In an interview with Hindustan Times, he explained his tattoo, “It’s a Latin saying that translates to ‘through adversity to the stars’. All our lives, we want to rise to a point when the time comes, but most people get pushed against a wall, with circumstances being against them. Things don’t always fall in place. But eventually, the beauty of life is to be an underdog and be able to go beyond one’s potential, because you believe in yourself and what you are capable of.”

He also shared a series of images and a video on his Instagram of the whole process of getting the tattoo.

On the work front, Arjun will be seen next in ‘Panipat’ – a historical drama directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The film also stars Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt.
