WHAT! Arjun Kapoor playing a VILLAIN in Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again?

Ace filmmaker Rohit Shetty is all geared up to jolt the audience with his upcoming film, Singham Again. Rohit Shetty is returning with Ajay Devgn in the third part of Singham. Ajay Devgn starrer Singham and Singham Returns were released in 2011 and 2014. Now, after 9 years, the two are all geared up to comeback with a bang. Singham Again will star Ajay Devgn alongside Deepika Padukone and now, there has been a new addition to the cast. Is Arjun Kapoor joining the cast of Singham Again?

Arjun Kapoor is the latest addition in Singham Again?

Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone in Singham Again will definitely impress the audience. The upcoming film has been making rounds on social media for its impressive casting. From Deepika to Akshay Kumar to Ranveer Singh, the excitement is totally high. Reportedly, even Tiger Shroff will make an appearance.

Now, according a report in Bollywood Hungama, a source has told the portal, “Yes, Arjun Kapoor is joining Rohit Shetty cop universe and this is the biggest surprise which Rohit and his team have kept under wraps. However, the twist in the tale is the fact that Arjun is playing the part of a villain and not the hero. Arjun will be the villain against the 4 supercops – Singham, Simmba, Sooryavanshi and Lady Singham.”

It also added that Arjun has begun with the prep work and will play the role of an antagonist. The report added, “Rohit is very particular about his casting and is going all out to make this the biggest film of Indian Cinema. He brought the biggest stars of Indian Cinema on board and is all ready to blast the box office with this action-packed thriller.”

Deepika will be playing the first lady Singham in the film. Reportedly, she will essay the role of Ajay’s sister. Earlier, during the song launch of Cirkus, Rohit had said, “Everybody keeps asking me when I’ll introduce Lady Singham. So, here it is. Deepika Padukone will be the Lady Singham Again. She is my lady bomb from the cop universe, and we’re going to start working together on it next year.”

Arjun Kapoor was last seen in Ek Villain Returns and Kuttey. Now, he is gearing up for The Lady Killer and Meri Patni Ka Remake. Meanwhile, Deepika has some interesting projects in the pipeline. Currently, she is busy with Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan. Apart from this, she also has Prabhas’ starrer Kalki 2898 AD coming up. On the other hand, Ajay Devgn will be seen in Maidaan.
