Arjun Kapoor spills the beans on marriage plans with girlfriend Malaika Arora, SLAMS trolls age-shaming their relationship

Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora have been dating for quite some time and have they made their relationship official long time ago. Arjun Kapoor recently graced the Koffee With Karan Season 8 episode along with Aditya Roy Kapur. In the recent episode, Arjun Kapoor opened up about getting trolled for being in a relationship with Malaika Arora. The actress was previously married to actor Arbaaz Khan.

Arjun Kapoor addresses trolls for being in a relationship with Malaika Arora

In the episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8, Arjun Kapoor addressed about the age difference being discussed many times and if it has made any difference to their relationship. During the episode, host Karan Johar asked Arjun if he is bothered by the trolls and if he it affects him. Arjun said, “What is important to understand is that you will be affected. There is no person that is not being affected, it is about dealing with it. It also shows their (trolls’) upbringing and their culture.”

Arjun further added, “Those people that are putting up random comments, you also know that they are trying to get your attention. So earlier, I used to get a bit worked up and wanted to respond all the time. Then I realised that I have to allow it to sink in. To understand what the reason is why these desperate people are trying to get my attention, and try to detach myself from their reaction. Does it affect me? Yes it does… they (trolls) might be doing it get likes.”

Addressing the trolls, Arjun Kapoor added that these are same people who are dying to click selfies.

Arjun Kapoor speaks about his marriage plans

Having said that Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora have been in a relationship for a while, KWK host asked if there are any future plans. To this, Arjun said, “I think at this point, this is the part of my life that right now I want to take it as it comes. I think it would be unfair to be sitting here without her and talking about the future, I think that would be the most respectful thing. Once we reach that stage, we’ll come and talk about it together or be able to speak about it together.

He added, “I’m very happy where I am and I think we make no bones about the fact that we survived through whatever we’ve had to be in this comfortable happy space. But I don’t want to speak about anything specifically right now because I feel that’s unfair to the relationship to talk alone about it.”
