Arjun Kapoor & Parineeti Chopra’s ‘Namaste England’ gets preponed!

Arjun Kapoor & Parineeti Chopra’s ‘Namaste England’ was going to hit the silver screen on 7th December 2018 but now the film has been preponed for October 19, during the Dussehra holidays. (Also Read: Sara Ali Khan, Shweta Bachchan & Karan Johar’s dance moves will make your day!)

The film is directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah which is the sequel to 2007’s hit ‘Namastey London’ which featured Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. Arjun and Parineeti have reunited for this flick after their film Ishqzaade which released in 2012. Parineeti had made her debut in Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’ in 2011.

According to reports, the team of ‘Namaste England’ had been filming in never-seen-before locations of Punjab. The film shows the journey of two young individuals from Punjab to England.

Arjun confirmed the new release date with a tweet, “Entertain karne aa rahe hai thoda jaldi. (Coming to entertain you a bit early) #NamasteEngland releases this Dussehra!”

Talking about his film, Vipul had told Hindustan Times, “From Amritsar, we move to Ludhiana and Patiala. We are filming at more than 75 locations spread across these three cities. Later, we’ll also be shooting in Dhaka, Paris, Brussels and finally in London. That’s how the love story progresses.”

He further elaborated on his lead characters, “Both their characters are from Punjab and this is the first time that Arjun and Parineeti will be playing genuine lovers. Away from the camera, they are good friends and are always joking and pranking. There’s a lot of camaraderies and it’s going to be fun working with them.”

After the release of this film, the duo will once again be seen in YRF’s ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’.
