Arjun Kapoor on Friday made an emotional post and remembered his late mother Mona Shourie on her birth anniversary. The Kuttey actor took to his Instagram to share throwback handwritten note by him. Kapoor shared a note that dates back to 1997. He also penned a heartfelt message for his mother, remembering her on her birth anniversary.

Taking to his Instagram, the Kuttey actor shared a note written by him, for his beloved mother, Mona Shourie. He told his mother that he is running out of photos now and of words too. Arjun Kapoor remembered his late mother on her birth anniversary and promised in his note that he will make her proud.
In the throwback hand-written note, Kapoor had written an essay on his mother in a diary. The note was dated back to October 6, 1997.
The note read: “My mother. Mother, what is a mother. Some say, it is the second form of God. I say it is a friend, a brother and sometimes your father. My mother is more precious than gold more soft than a petal of flower more enthusiastic than a teenager more loveable than myself. ‘Oh’ mother dont ever get upset because your tears are like fresh droplets of water. But your smile is like Rs 1,00,00,000 and much more. Your son Arjun Kapoor.”

Sharing the post, in the caption, Arjun wrote, “I’m running out of pictures now Maa. I’ve run out of words also so just putting up something again that sums the child inside me up, Maybe I’ve run out of energy & strength also but today is your birthday and it’s the best day of the year for me, that’s why I promise you I will never give up I promise you I will find new energy & strength & I promise u I will make u proud wherever u are… love u feels rather empty without ur smile ya… Happy Birthday to my everything.”

Mona Shourie Kapoor passed away on March 25, 2012. She was born on February 3, 1964.
