Arjun Kapoor reveals The Lady Killer shoot made him take a break: Needed to get out of that space

Apart from Ek Villain Returns, actor Arjun Kapoor is also shooting for The Lady Killer with Bhumi Pednekar. The actor wrapped the shoot in June but did you know that the film took a toll on Arjun? Well, during a recent interview, Arjun revealed he has given a lot to the film emotionally and mentally. So much so that, he had to take a break after shooting for 45 days for the film.

Speaking to PTI, Arjun said: “Lady Killer is something else. I have given a lot to that film. Mentally and emotionally, The Lady Killer has been intense and raw for Bhumi and I. It is very real in that sense as a love story. That’s why I went on holiday after that. I shot for about 45 days for that film and went away on a break. I needed to get out of that space.” For unversed, Arjun jetted off to Paris with his girlfriend Malaika Arora after wrapping the film and also to celebrate his birthday.

To mark this special day, the Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar actor even shared some love-soaked pics from their stay in the city of love. Hours before ringing in his birthday with Malaika, Arjun shared some loved-up pictures from their visit to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Malaika Arora even shared an adorable picture on her Instagram and she wrote, “Make a wish my love may all ur wishes n dreams come true happy birthday @arjunkapoor”

On the work front, Arjun Kapoor currently has three films in his basket. He is all set to begin promotions for Ek Villain Returns and also has Kuttey and The Lady Killer in the pipeline.
