Arjun Kapoor worked 22 hours non stop for R Balki

The ‘Tevar’ actor Arjun Kapoor is depicting the role of a married man in R Balki’s film ‘Ki and Ka’. Arjun Kapoor will be romancing his childhood crush Kareena Kapoor in the film that has the two playing onscreen married couple. Arjun Kapoor is essaying the role of a progressive husband, with Kareena Kapoor playing the role of a career woman.

Sources revealed that, “The Gunday actor recently shot for R. Balki’s film at a continuous stretch of 22 hours nonstop at YRF studios. He also had 23 costume changes and completed an entire sequence of cooking/kitchen shots at one go. Arjun Kapoor and director R. Balki were so absorbed by the shoot that they shot the entire day and night. While they started shooting at 9 am, they finished only the next morning by 5 am.”

Sources added,, “Since it was the last day of the set the makers had built, they wanted to make sure they did justice to the actual working kitchen that was built from scratch with a fully stuffed fridge and fully working appliances like you find in any other house. It was a power packed day for Arjun as he shot for 22 hours and did over 23 costume changes, shooting from 8 am to 6 am the next morning.”

‘Ki And Ka’ also has megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan doing a cameo.
