Arjun Kapoor wraps up shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, calls him ‘the boss of mass cinema’

Earlier today, Arjun Kapoor shared a post on his social media announcing that he has wrapped his part of the shooting schedule for the much awaited mass entertainer ‘Singham Again’ where he will be seen playing the role of a villain.

Talking about wrapping up his shooting schedule for the film, Arjun Kapoor shares, “Wrapping up my part of the shoot for my 20th film & a mass entertainer like ‘Singham Again feels like a significant achievement in my journey as an actor. This is the stuff you dream of when you watch masala films growing up!!! Working alongside Rohit Shetty sir has been an absolute privilege.”

‘Singham Again’ marks the continuation of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, following the successes of ‘Singham’ (2011) and ‘Singham Returns’ (2014). With a stellar ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, the film promises a thrilling addition to Shetty’s cinematic universe. While it’s the third installment in the Singham series, it’s the fifth film in Shetty’s esteemed Cop Universe. 

The movie is poised to introduce Singham in a fresh and exhilarating avatar, with familiar characters reprising their roles. Akshay Kumar as Veer Sooryavanshi, Kareena Kapoor as Avni Kamat Singham, and Ranveer Singh as Sangram Bhalerao majorly. Penned by Shantanu Srivastava and Milap Zaveri, the film is scheduled for release on August 15 next year.
