Actor Arjun Mathur is now married to his longtime girlfriend, production designer Tiya Tejpal. Although the newlyweds did not make any official announcement, their marriage pic has circulated on the internet. The picture shows Arjun and Tiya in traditional wedding attire, sitting in the mandap next to the holy fire.

The first pic of Arjun and Tiya’s wedding was shared on reddit. In the pic, Tiya was seen in a saree, while Arjun wore a kurta pyjama. Both were sitting in front of a mandap, smiling as they looked at others around them.

Talking about keeping his marriage a private affair, Arjun says to Hindustan Times, “Tiya and I have been as good as married for many years now. It was simply time for us to solemnise. We were extremely fortunate to be able to keep it as small and intimate as we wanted. We believe that intimacy is beautiful, as long as it stays private. Once public, it becomes something else, which we have all seen enough of in recent times.”

The actor was previously married to Simrit Malhi in 2010, however, the duo called off their marriage after two years. Post that Arjun started dating Tiya. The lovebirds have been together for several years but were mostly private about their relationship.

Workwise, Tiya is a renowned production designer and has worked in big-budgeted projects like Life of Pi, Raman Raghav 2.0, The White Tiger, Game and Baar Baar Dekho among others.
