‘Arjun Patiala’ Mid-Ticket Review: First half of this Diljit Dosanjh-Kriti Sanon starrer is not the laugh riot you expected

We are watching the first day, first show of ‘Arjun Patiala’ and these are our thoughts after the first half of the movie.

The first half of ‘Arjun Patiala’ is not a laugh riot that you expected it to be. Despite not being obnoxiously bad, this film fails to tick most boxes. Except for the acting, the movie fails in every regard. Diljit and Varun’s natural comic timing is brilliant as usual. Even Kriti brings her A-Game. Unfortunately, the script doesn’t pack in enough jokes for a film that claims to be a spoof. It seems that the script was changed too many times by too many people and lost its essence. What’s the saddest part is that the trailer of the film promised so much but alas, the film falls so short of its target. We’re hoping that the second half will pack in more punches.
