Today, actor Arjun Rampal is yet again questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the drug probe. As per India Today, he could get arrested by the NCB if the doctor’s prescription that he submitted to the agency is found to be fake or forged. The medicines come under NDPS Act.
India Today quoted sources saying that NCB suspects the doctor’s prescription (regarding some psychiatric medicines) submitted by Rampal to be fake. Earlier, during the raid by NCB, these medicines were found at his residence. Based on the raid, the actor had submitted the prescription. In his statement, he said he has nothing to with drugs or drugs peddlers and the prescription is valid for the tablets that were found at his residence.
Today’s interrogation was based on the same prescription.
Earlier, he asked some more time to appear before the probe agency. He was summoned on December 15 to appear on December 16.
Arjun was interrogated by the NCB last month. Even Arjun’s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades was questioned twice by the agency. The drug probe agency had also seized electronics gadgets from Arjun’s residence during the raid. NCB had also arrested Gabriella’s brother Agisilaos Demetriades in a drug case but he recently got bail.
Arjun and Gabriella’s name had cropped after the latter’s brother, Agisialos was arrested.
