Arjun Rampal’s mother Gwen Rampal passes away

Actor Arjun Rampal’s mother Gwen Rampal passed away after a long fight with cancer and her last rites were performed in Worli by the bereaved actor. The ‘Paltan’ actor’s mother was detected with a triple negative breast cancer four years ago, in July Arjun had shared a news that his mother has won the battle against the dreaded disease. But her sudden demise has left all in a shock.

In this tragic period, Arjun found support from his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades and daughters Mahikaa and Myra. Arjun’s ex-wife Mehr Jessia was also was also spotted at the funeral.

Several film celebrities too paid their last respects to Arjun’s mother. Harshwardhan Rane Arjun’s co-star from ‘Paltan’ arrived to bid a final goodbye to Gwen with his girlfriend Kim Sharma. Filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor and his wife Pragya Yadav and others were also seen bidding adieu to Arjun’s mother.

When his mother had won her battle against cancer Arjun had shared a video on Twitter in which he said, “Cancer is becoming more and more epidemic these days. My mother underwent a treatment for it and was cured. But 10 months later, cancer metastasized into her lungs and then with the help of my friend, we went to Champali Maud Foundation research centre in Lisbon.” T

At the end of the video Arjun’s mother had spoken about her experience on fighting cancer and also announced that she is fine now.
