Arjun Rampal not given clean chit by NCB; official says, “We have found a discrepancy in the statements”

On December 21, Arjun Rampal was interrogated by the NCB officials for the second time, in connection with the drug case related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. He was questioned for several hours. There were reports that the actor was given clean shit in the case. But, NCB official Sameer Wankhede who happens to be the Zonal Director confirmed that the investigation is still going on and that the actor has not been given a clean chit.

He told Times of India, “The investigation is on in Arjun Rampal case we have not given him a clean chit.” When asked about the prescription submitted by the actor, Wankhede said, “We have found a discrepancy in the statements given to us and therefore examining it. And if the need arises we will call him again.”

Earlier, during the raid by NCB, some medicines were found at his residence. The medicines come under NDPS Act. In his statement, Arjun had said he has nothing to with drugs or drugs peddlers and the prescription is valid for the tablets that were found at his residence.

Arjun’s girlfriend Gabriella was also interrogated by the NCB. Gabriella’s brother Agisialos and Arjun’s friend Paul Bartel were arrested by NCB in a drug case.
