Narcotics Control Bureau raids Arjun Rampal’s Mumbai residence in drug probe

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is currently investigating the drug probe linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Earlier this week, Arjun Rampal’s partner Gabriella Demetriades’ brother Agisilaos was arrested in relation to the Bollywood drug probe and now the NCB has also raided Rampal’s residence in Mumbai.

Confirming the news, ANI wrote on Twitter, “Narcotics Control Bureau conducts raid at the premises of actor Arjun Rampal in Mumbai”.

Media outside #SusHantSinghRajput former building and now #arjunrampal residence. The NCB is back again with it’s new set of raids and it seems today morning they searched Arjun’s home. This comes a day after Bollywood producer Firoz Nadiadwala’s house was raided by the NCB on Sunday in relation to a drug case. “We have arrested Firoz Nadiadwala’s wife under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Arjun’s driver was spotted leaving the actor’s residence with a suitcase. He was reportedly also questioned by the NCB officials.

In the same drug probe, the NCB had raided producer Firoz Nadiadwala’s residence and arrested his wife Shabana Saeed after finding drugs in her possession. Talking about it, NCB officer Sameer Wankhede had told ETimes, “We conducted a major strike in Western Mumbai and Navi Mumbai where we recovered ganja in commercial quantity, Mephedrone and other different drugs. We also intercepted five peddlers and based on that we conducted and recovered some drugs today morning from his house which was supposed to be part of the same seizure.”

Meanwhile, the NCB had seized hashish and alprazolam tablets from Agisilaos. And while he was granted bail by the court but he was arrested again by the NCB in relation to the drug case in which Dharma Productions’ former executive producer Kshitij Prasad was also arrested.
