Arjun Rampal’s brother-in-law booked for molesting an air hostess

Arjun Rampal is in news today, but for a wrong reason. Well, according to a report in
Mumbai Mirror, the actor’s brother-in-law, Amit Gill, has been booked for allegedly molesting, poisoning and criminally intimidating an air hostess.

Reportedly, Amit had taken Rs 18 lakhs from the girl, and had promised her a good return of investments. But, later he didn’t give her Rs 6 lakhs. Gill had allegedly called the girl to his house, spiked her drink, and then took obscene photos of her. He also went on threaten her to defame her on social media.

The girl has stated, “My common friend told me she had invested around Rs 80 lakh with Gill, and he was offering good returns. She advised me to also invest with Gill, and said he could help me get the Rs 5 lakh a friend in Dubai owed me, as he [Gill] knew several people in there.”

Santacruz police in their statement has said, “There was an agreement made between Gill and the victim’s mother about the same. Gill had promised returns at 3 per cent per month to the victim, who though that with this interest money, she would be able to take care of her mother, who was all alone in Mumbai, as the victim mostly stayed in Abu Dhabi for work.”

Later when the girl asked for money from Gill, he gave her a cheque which bounced. Then she transferred her only Rs 12 lakhs through Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS).

The victim said, “This was on June 15, 2017. I started demanding the remaining Rs 6 lakh with interest from Gill, and he started threatening me and even sent me some obscene pictures of me, telling me not to ask for money, or he would post my obscene photos on social media.”

Paramjit Singh Dahiya, deputy commissioner of police, Zone IX, said, “We have registered a case against Gill and are investigating the matter.” (Also Check: ‘Paltan’ gang party hard post wrap-up of the movie. SEE PICS)
