Armaan Kohli arrested for illegal possession of 41 bottles of Scotch whisky

What is with Armaan Kohli and controversies? It seems like they go hand in hand and more often than not, Armaan Kohli finds himself in trouble. Now, the actor has made yet another headline and again not for the right reasons! According to Times of India report, the actor has been arrested by the Excise police for storing 41 bottles of Scotch whisky, all of which were found to be of foreign brands.

The publication further states that the law permits only 12 units of hard liquor bottles including Scotch whisky and rum for a month. Plus, a person is allowed to bring only two bottles of liquor from abroad at a time. Excise officials told the daily that they are still in the process of figuring out how much the bottles cost as they were purchased from abroad.

As per the law, under section 63(E) of Bombay Liquor Prohibition Act, 1949, if Armaan is found guilty by the court then he can be put behind the bars for three years and will be levied with a fine.

Armaan Kohli is a habitual offender and recently was in news for abusing a female fashion designer. The actor suffers from rage issues and has allegedly physically manhandled his ex-girlfriend. Armaan has had a chequered track record and this latest indiscretion comes as no surprise. We sincerely hope that Armaan gets his life back on track and learns from his mistakes.
