Arms Act Case: Rajasthan HC provides relief for Salman Khan

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been provided relief by the Rajasthan High Court today. The court has paid heed to the actors request to introduce five witnesses in the case and has admitted them on Tuesday.

The High Court by admitting the five witnesses a request that was turned down by a lower court earlier, has extended the trial term. The Lower court will now have to re-examine the five prosecution witnesses thus delaying the trial.

Salman Khan had earlier requested the lower court to allow the introduction of the five witnesses, but as he was turned down he applied the same at the High Court in Jodhpur. Justice Nirmal Jeet Kaur heard the matter on Tuesday and admitted the five prosecution witnesses for re-examination including former Jodhpur collector Rajat Mishra.
