Bollywood superstar Salman Khan‘s recent release Bajrangi Bhaijaan, is rocking at the Box Office. But the Khan is back to facing his innumerable hurdles of life. The Arms Act Case that has been going on in a Rajasthan court has been adjourned to August 19th now.
Salman Khan’s case has been stayed by the Rajasthan High Court in the lower court until a criminal miscellaneous petition moved by Khan in the high court was not decided. Salman Khan had moved High Court to seek permission for recalling five witnesses including the then district magistrate Rajat Kumar Mishra and the investigating officer (ASP) Ashok Patni.
Khan’s counsel H M Saraswat said, “The high court had allowed our petition on May 28 staying the trial in the ACJM (Rural) court until the petition was not decided. As the arguments have reamnined incomplete, the court will proceed with them on July 28th. Keeping this in mind, the trail court also deferred the hearing of the case till August 19,.”
Salman Khan who had been in court on April 29, to record his statement had pleaded not guilty.
