Arti Singh and Dipak Chauhan wedding: Mama Govinda showers love as he prays for niece’s well-being and happiness

Arti Singh and Dipak Chauhan’s lavish wedding took place on 25^th April 2024 at Iskcon temple in Mumbai. The big day was attended by several TV and Bollywood celebs. However, it was Arti and Krushna’s maternal uncle (mama) Govinda’s presence that was the highlight. Not only did he mark presence, but Govinda also showered love on niece Arti Singh on her big day.

Talking to the media about the wedding, Govinda told Instant Bollywood, “Ishvar se praarthana hai, jo kripa Arti par hui hai kisi prakaar ka vastu dosh na lage (I pray for her wellbeing and may god protect her from evil eyes).”

Earlier Krushna Abhishek’s wife Kashmera Shah had confirmed his presence promising she would touch his feet and treat him with utmost respect as he will attend the marriage. Expressing happiness about his arrival, the couple said, “Maama aaye bahut khushi hui. I was so happy to see him. Wo dil ki baat hai. Humara emotional connect hai. (I am very happy my uncle came. We have an emotional connect, it has to do with the heart.)” When asked if she touched Govinda’s feet, Kashmera said, “Obviously, ye bolne ki baat nahi hai. He’s always been very sweet. Unhone mere dono bachchon ko bless kiya and aashirvaad diya (He gave blessings to both of my kids). I’m very, very happy.”

Govinda looked dapper in black Jodhpuri attire as he made a grand entry at Arti’s wedding. He greeted paparazzi with a flying kiss. However, he avoided posing for the shutterbugs and directly headed inside the venue. While his wife Sunita didn’t came, his son Yashvardhan graced the evening with his presence. For those unversed, Krushna Abhishek had a huge fallout with mama Govinda in 2016 after which they were not on talking terms.
