Aryan Khan approaches NCB court over return of passport after clean chit

Aryan Khan, who got a clean chit by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), in the cruise ship drug case has now approached the court over the return of his passport. On Thursday, Special NDPS judge VV Patil directed the NCB to file their reply to the plea. He posted the matter for hearing on July 13. In his plea, Shah Rukh Khan’s son has requested the cancellation of his bail bond, and a formal order to be issued, discharging him from the cruise drug case.

Aryan Khan was arrested in the cruise ship drug case in October, last year. The star kid spent almost a month in the Arthur Road jail, before he was granted bail by the court.

For the unversed, it was in May 2022, the NCB’s SIT issued a statement that stated that the agency officials intercepted Vikrant, Ishmeet, Arbaaz, Aryan and Gomit at the International Port Terminal, Mumbai Port Trust, and Nupur, Mohak and Munmun on the Cordelia Cruise. The statement further stated that out of the said accused persons, all were found in possesion of narcotics substances except Aryan and Mohak. An excerpt from the statement read: “All the accused persons were found in possession of narcotics except Aryan and Mohak.”

Meanwhile, Aryan Khan has made a public appearance at several occasions since his bail in the cruise ship drug case. The star kid was latest spotted at filmmaker Karan Johar’s 50th Birthday bash. He made a handsome appearance in a black tuxedo.
