Aryan Khan Drug Case: Special NDPS Court grants bail to six other co-accused

Aryan Khan is finally out of jail. The starkid was recently granted bail and is now home. And now, we have learned that Aachit Kumar, a 22-year-old student who was accused of being Aryan Khan’s drug “supplier” also received bail by the special NDPS court. The court also granted bail to six others. As per Live Law Twitter, bail was granted to event organizers of the cruise party – Gopalji Anand, Samir Sehgal, Manav Singhal and Bhaskar Arora.

For the unversed, Aryan Khan was behind the bars in the Arthur Road Jail after he was taken into custody by the NCB in the cruise ship drug case. He was detained by the NCB on October 3 and he was remanded on October 8 by the Special NDPS Court after being denied bail. He was finally granted bail by the Bombay High Court and he was released today.

He was granted bail by Bombay High Court on Thursday evening but the bail conditions were pronounced by single-judge Justice Nitin Sambre only on Friday evening. One of the conditions was a personal bond of Rs1 lakh and one surety of the like amount. Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla was the one who stood as surety for Khan.

Special NDPS Court also grants bail to six others.

The Sessions Court had cleared the surety and other formalities on Friday but the bail papers were unable to reach the jail authorities before the 5.30 pm deadline and that’s why Khan’s release got postponed. Apparently, post-release, the actor was to be taken to hotel Four Seasons to meet the legal team for further procedures.
