Aryan Khan drug case: Tanishaa Mukerji extends her support to the star kid; thinks ‘this is harassment’

Actor Tanishaa Mukerji, sister of actor Kajol, is the latest one to extend her support to Aryan Khan. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s son Aryan has been embroiled in the drug case ever since the Narcotics Control Bureau procured drugs in a cruise ship where he was a part of the event. He was arrested by NCB and his bail hearing will be continued today. Amidst all the chaos around the Aryan Khan drug case, Tanishaa finds this case harassment, even more, because a child is going through media trials. 

She even slammed media by saying that it is sensationalism and not journalism. In a chat with Bombay Times, Tanishaa said, “I definitely think that in Aryan’s case, this is harassment. More so by putting the child on a media trial! This is not real journalism, just sensationalism or Bollywood bashing as you would say. Unfortunately, people have become callous towards our stars saying things like, that these are the pros and cons to being a star kid! Really? Obviously, they don’t have any compassion.”

Tanishaa further went on to say, “This country is for all of us and people should be more discerning when looking at the evidence and think what if this was happening to my child? What would I do? Is this justice?”

Besides Tanishaa Mukerji, stars like Pooja Bhatt, Zoya Akhtar, Suniel Shetty,  Sussanne Khan and Hrithik Roshan have extended their support to the star couple and the star kid.

Coming back to Aryan’s case, his bail was earlier rejected by the magistrate court. Today, his bail hearing will be heard in High Court. While Aryan’s lawyer Amit Desai is fighting for bail, the Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Anil C Singh is opposing the same in the court.
