Aryan Khan Drugs Case: NCB seeks extension of custody till October 11

Aryan Khan was taken to court today by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for his bail hearing in the drugs case. As per reports, NCB sought extension of Aryan Khan’s custody for four more days, i.e. till October 11.

ANI’s report states, “While seeking custody of Aryan Khan & 7 others till Oct 11 in the drug seizure case, NCB tells a Mumbai-based court it is still conducting raids and “anyone arrested in those raids would be needed to be confronted with the present accused”.

Shah Rukh Khan’s son was arrested by the NCB in connection with a drugs case with several others on October 3 as they busted a drugs party onboard a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. After the arrest, on October 4, he and others were sent to custody till October 7 as his bail was denied.

Today, at the court hearing, NCB has sought remand of Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, and five others till October 11.

The lawyers of Aryan’s friend Arbaz Merchant have filed a bail application for him along with an application seeking CCTV footage of the raid. Phones of Aryan Khan and others were sent for forensic analysis. NCB stated in court that “shocking and incriminating” evidence was found in the accused’s WhatsApp conversations, that indicated connections to international drug trafficking.
