Aryan Khan was taken into judicial custody by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) after he was caught in a raid on a cruise ship in an alleged drug case. Aryan’s bail hearing took place yesterday along with the other two accused but he was denied bail by the court. Now, he has been sent to Arthur Road Jail where he will stay after being in quarantine for a few days. We had informed in our last report that post the last hearing the Court would be shut during the weekend. So if the bail plea was to be processed it can only be done on Monday during which Aryan will have to spend his days in jail. And now, Aryan Khan’s lawyer Satish Maneshine has confirmed the same. Maneshinde revealed in his recent statement that he will not be doing anything regarding the case up until Monday.
Meanwhile, talking about the cruise ship drug case Sameer Wankedhe, Director of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) told ANI that he, along with the prosecution will try to bring the case to a logical conclusion, he said, “We and the prosecution will make an attempt that the case will go to a logical conclusion. Our case is strong and will present the same in the court.” Aryan Khan’s bail was rejected by the magistrate as his application was not maintainable.

Aryan Khan’s lawyer had made quite a lot of arguments in the case during his bail plea and also read out a statement by Aryan that said, “I am a 23-year-old with no prior antecedents. I happen to be from Bollywood. I went on an invitation, refused when asked if I have drugs. They were honest not to accuse me of anything else. Data from my mobile has been retrieved and sent for forensics”
Meanwhile, as per a report by PTI, Aryan along with the accused was brought to the prison after 2:30 pm yesterday. The NCB has arrested 18 persons so far after raiding the cruise ship.
