Asha Bhosle to sing for Vidya Balan in ‘Begum Jaan’

Veteran singer Asha Bhosle made a comeback to Bollywood singing this year with the Vir Das and Soha Ali Khan-starrer ’31st October’, but like the film, Asha’s singing too went unnoticed.

The singer will now be crooning for actress Vidya Balan in ‘Begum Jaan’. Asha will be singing a song which will be picturised on Vidya Balan and the music of which has been composed by Anu Malik. This will also be after 10 years that Anu and Asha will be working together.

‘Begum Jaan’s music album will be crooned by big singers like Sonu Nigam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shreya Ghoshal.

Recently talking about collaborating with Asha again, Anu had said that it has been a huge honour to have the veteran singer croon for him.

‘Begum Jaan’ is a Hindi adaptation of the Bengali film ‘Rajkahini’ and will feature Vidya Balan, Pallavi Sharda, Gauahar Khan among others. The movie will release on March 17, 2017.
