Rithvik Dhanjani’s GF Asha Negi to make her Bollywood debut opposite Abhishek Bachchan?

After their stints on television, many actors have made their way into Bollywood. Take for example, Ankita Lokhande, Mrunal Thakur, Sushant Singh Rajput and Jay Bhanushali among others. As per the latest reports, the new TV actress to put her steps into Bollywood is ‘Pavitra Rishta’ fame Asha Negi.

Asha Negi will make her debut in Anurag Basu’s untitled movie, which has an ensemble cast of Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi and Sanya Malhotra.

The report in Times of India states, “She (Asha) has been signed on to play Abhishek Bachchan’s love interest in Anurag Basu’s next, which also stars Rajkummar Rao and Aditya Roy Kapur.”

Till now, nothing has been confirmed from the makers and the actress.

Talking about the movie, the shooting has been going on for months. Earlier, we came across a few BTS pictures and videos of Abhishek Bachchan.

Asha Negi is a popular actress who made her television debut with Star Plus’ show ‘Sapnon Se Bhare Naina’. Then, she appeared in ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’. Asha got her lead role in ‘Pavitra Rishta’ and with this daily soap, she became a household name. She also appeared in reality shows like ‘Nach Baliye’ and ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’.
