Ashiesh Roy Passes Away: Hansal Mehta, Manoj Bajpayee and Anubhav Sinha mourn his demise

Television’s popular actor Ashiesh Roy breathed his last in the wee hours of November 24. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, Ashiesh died at his residence in Goregaon. The 55-year-old actor was suffering from kidney ailments for a long time. His death came as shock to the B-town celebs.

Some of these celebs took to their social media handles to mourn the death of Ashiesh. Filmmaker Hansal Mehta led the Bollywood in offering condolences to the late actor’s family.

Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit wrote, “Sad to know about the demise of my dear friend @ashieshroy ever-smiling, ever happy. He was a brilliant actor on stage, tv and films & a great human being. Will miss you, my friend. Om Shanti”

Sharing details of Ashiesh’s untimely death, the security guard of his building told Mumbai Mirror, “Ashiesh saab died at 3.45 am last night. His servant came running down and said he had a couple of big hiccups and collapsed. Unka health problem toh chal hi raha tha but the servant said he was quite okay yesterday. In fact, he was supposed to undergo a dialysis today, too.”

Reportedly, the actor’s funeral will take place once his sister arrives from Kolkata.
