‘Ashiqui Mein Teri 2.0’ Song: Ranu Mondal-Himesh Reshammiya’s recreated version has taken the internet by storm

Himesh Reshammiya, who is currently gearing up for the release of, ‘Happy Hardy and Heer’ has shared a new song, ‘Ashiqui Mein Teri 2.0′. Ever since the actor-composer had shared a teaser of this song, it had garnered much love from the netizens. One of the main reasons why the song went viral is that it is sung by internet sensation Ranu Mondal.

Talking about the song recently during a media interaction, Himesh had revealed that, ‘Ashiqui Mein Teri 2.0′ has got some fresh tunes. The song consists of the six phases, and three are completely original while they have retained the original composition for the remaining part. The high octane dance number is set in the backdrop of a party, where Himesh can be seen crooning the song.

The track also features Sonia Mann and she can be seen grooving beautifully on the beats. This recreated song from ’36 China Town’ is sung by Ranu Mondal, composed by Himesh himself and its lyrics have been penned by Sameer and Himesh.

Earlier sharing details of this recreated version, Himesh had told IANS, “I enjoyed every moment recreating my own chartbuster track which I had composed for the Shahid Kapoor-starrer ’36 China Town’, a decade back. Although ‘Ashiqui Mein Teri 2.0’ is a sure shot party anthem, there is a lot of depth and a very soulful melody attached to the song which has helped to make the love story of ‘Happy Hardy and Heer’ timeless.”

‘Happy Hardy and Heer’ is helmed by Raka and produced by Deepshikha Deshmukh and Sabita Manakchand. It is slated to hit the screens on January 3, 2020.
