‘Ashish Vidyarthi never cheated on me,’ REVEALS actor’s first wife post his second marriage

Ashish Vidyarthi got married to Rupali Barua yesterday at the age of 60. This news created quite a buzz among the audience and left several people in shock. On one hand where people were showering the actor with love. There, on the other side people also made speculations about his first marriage. Now, Rajoshi Barua, his first wife has spoken about the actor’s second marriage.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Rajoshi elaborated on several things and finally broke her silence on Ashish’s second marriage. Rajoshi revealed that the couple filed a divorce last year in 2021. She further said, “No one has pushed anyone. This was completely mutual. I have spent a very long time of my life as Shakuntala Barua’s daughter and Ashish Vidyarthi’s wife. Now the time has come that I want to walk my path alone. I want my own identity and just to be clear, it wasn’t like he has ever crushed my identity. I just realised that he is seeing a different future, I am seeing a different one.”

Further, Piloo Vidyarthi, aka Rajoshi Barua, also confessed that 22 years of her life with Ashish have been the best and assured us that the actor would say the same thing if someone asked him. Ashish Vidyarthi’s first wife also spoke about how they raised their son together and later, after a good number of years, realized that their paths are different and they both want different things from life. Piloo comments, and we quote her, “As an artist, I did what I wanted to and no one restricted me. But, when I explored, I realized my callings, and that is when I knew that our (my and Ashish’s) future wants are different.”

Rajoshi Barua also spoke about their son, Arth. She further revealed that Ashish has been a very good father and has guided Arth wherever the need be. Ashish’s role in Arth’s upbringing was as important as Piloo’s. 

Lastly, Piloo Vidyarthi spoke about how they both handled the divorce. She says, “I wouldn’t have been able to make this decision without Ashish’s support. He handled it beautifully and made it easy for both of us. He was like ‘Let’s do this, let’s do that and then see.’ I have heard about lawyers often engaging in ugly fights but nothing as such happened between us.I am going bonkers with the interpretation people are having about us. This is not fair. Ashish never cheated on me. Even if people are thinking that all he wanted was to get married again. This is completely a false narrative.”
