Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker’s son Konark Gowariker married real estate mogul Rasesh Kanakia’s daughter Niyati Kanakia on March 2 in Mumbai. The grand wedding was followed by a star-studded reception, with some of Bollywood’s who’s who marking their attendance. The celebrities who attended Ashutosh Gowariker’s son reception bash included Aamir Khan, Sonali Bendre and Goldie Behl, Genelia and Riteish Deshmukh, and Gracy Singh among others.

Ashutosh Gowariker is known for his films like Lagaan, Swades, and Jodha Akbar among others. His son’s wedding was a lavish affair with the atmosphere brimming with happiness and excitement. Among the notable attendees was Aamir Khan, who made a dashing entry at the reception. The actor opted for a dark grey suit paired with a black shirt, exuding sophistication.
Aamir’s ex-wife Kiran Rao also attended the occasion. To note, she was an AD on Lagaan where the couple had fell in love. She arrived at the venue with Ira Khan’s husband, Nupur Shikhare. She kept it effortlessly stylish in a white shirt paired with a printed skirt.
Putting their best fashion foot forward, Farhan Akhtar and Chunky Pandey arrived in all-black indo-western attires.
To everyone’s surprise, Lagaan actress Gracy Singh made a rare appearance at the occasion. She looked gorgeous in a dazzling pastel pink lehenga. Swades fame Gayatri Oberoi also arrived to bless the newlyweds with her husband.
Bollywood’s power couple’s also made heads turn with their dazzling appearances. Among the attendees were Sonali Bendre with husband Goldie Behl. The list included Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Dsouza, Vidya Balan-Siddharth Roy Kapur and Shabana Azmi with Javed Akhtar. Pooja Hegde too was seen at the celebrations.
For those unversed, the festivities began with the traditional haldi ceremony on February 28 and sangeet ceremony on March 1, attended by close friends and family.
