While the duo has never come out as such to clarify those rumours, but Athiya’s father Suniel Shetty has often stated that since both the youngsters are quite busy with their respective careers, they would tie the knot once they have time to indulge in all the wedding festivities. Now, the recent reports have made the buzz stronger for a wedding some day after January 20, and new details seem to have arrived regarding the venue of the nuptials.

While the world was expecting a lavish and extravagant affair for the wedding of Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul, sources say that the couple has indeed opted for a private and intimate ceremony. According to a report in ETimes, the soon-to-wed couple will tie the knot at Suniel Shetty’s bungalow in Khandala. The property is quite a lavish place with a scenic view and large open space, and it is expected to give a grand yet homely feel to the couple as they enter the new phase in their personal lives.

The report further stated that the wedding will have a limited guest list which will include the immediate families as well as some close friends of the couple. It is going to be an intimate affair and some renowned names from the world of cricket and Bollywood are expected to attend KL Rahul-Athiya Shetty’s big day. Also, the bride and groom’s families have planned a grand reception for more people from the world of entertainment, sports, business and political fields in April and it promises to be a Big Fat Indian wedding extravaganza.
