Athiya Shetty gets body shamed by netizens; trolls say, “Face cycle ki seat jaisi hai”

Athiya Shetty grabs the headlines either for her rumoured relationships or for getting trolled on social media for her body. Yet again she has become the victim of trolls for her body. Yesterday at Armaan Jain’s wedding reception, she donned an ivory lehenga with contrasting emerald toned jewelry and carried a matching potli of the same colour. Her make-up was minimal and hair was tied in a bun. No doubt, she looked gorgeous in the attire. But no one can stop trolls and the diva got mercilessly body shamed. One user even called her face ‘cycle ki seat’.

Earlier, Athiya took to her Twitter handle to reply to trolls who judge people by their body or appearance. She wrote, “I’d just like to point out that telling someone they’re too skinny and “must eat some food” is AS bad as telling someone they’re fat and need to get on a diet. It still counts as body shaming. Everyone is built differently, everyone has their own struggle.. so be kind or zip your mouth.”
