Actor Athiya Shetty has been away from the media glare for quite some time ever since there was pregnancy rumours started making headlines. However, amid the pregnancy rumours, Athiya was recently spotted at the airport, flaunting her snatched figure. Wearing a simple white crop top and blue jeans, Athiya rocked the casual look with panache. She rounded her look with a white shirt and black sunglasses. As she arrived at the airport, Athiya sort of even quashed the pregnancy rumours by flaunting her svelte figure.

When Suniel Shetty sparked Athiya Shetty’s pregnancy rumours

Speaking of which, Suniel Shetty made a statement on his dance reality show, Dance Deewane which sparked the pregnancy rumours between Athiya and Rahul. The previous episode was a special grandparents episode and host Bharti Singh asked him how would he behave when he becomes a nana. Reacting to it, the Dhadkan actor said, “Yes, next season when I come I will be walking on the stage like a Nana.”

When Athiya Shetty’s pregnancy rumours were dismissed

Earlier, when the reports started making headlines, a source refuted it saying she is not pregnant. A source told Hindustan Times, ”There is no truth in the buzz. Suniel’s nana remark was said in a jest and in a very informal way. His remarks have been misinterpreted by all. They both are happily married, and enjoying this phase of life. They want to expand their family at some point of life, but they are enjoying this phase of life. At the moment, there is no truth to the pregnancy speculation. They will announce the news and share their happiness with everyone, as and when it happens. The family will come out and share — because that is the nature of the Shetty family. For now, they just want the joke to be taken as a joke, and not seriously”.

Athiya Shetty married her boyfriend cricketer KL Rahul on 23rd January 2024. They had an intimate wedding in Khandala at Suniel’s farmhouse. Only their close friends and family were in attendance.
