Athiya Shetty has the best reaction to her wedding rumours with KL Rahul, says ‘Hope I’m invited’

Rumours are rife that actor Athiya Shetty is set to get married to her boyfriend, cricketer KL Rahul in an intimate wedding ceremony soon. As per reports, the wedding that was supposed to take place at the end of the year, has been preponed. And, the reports suggest that the wedding will take place in three months. Athiya Shetty has reacted to her wedding rumours with KL Rahul. She broke her silence on the wedding reports with a savage reply.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the Hero actress reacted to the wedding rumours and said she hopes she is invited to the wedding that is taking place in three months. Athiya affirmed that there’s no wedding happening in the 3 months, contrary to reports.

Athiya Shetty wrote, “I hope I’m invited to the wedding that’s taking place in 3 months. Lol.”

Meanwhile, recently, Suniel Shetty, Athiya’s father, and her brother Ahan Shetty also shared an update on the wedding. They reacted to the reports of Athiya’s wedding and mentioned that there are no plans yet. Speaking with Radio Mirchi, Suniel Shetty gave the real update and said, “No, nothing has been planned yet!”

Ahan spoke about Athiya’s rumoured wedding in May with Dainik Bhaskar and said, “As far as the wedding is concerned, there are no arrangements being made. There is no such ceremony, these are all rumours. When there is no wedding, how can we give you a date?”

For the unversed, it was only recently when Athiya accompanied Rahul to Germany. The couple jetted off to Munich for the cricketer’s treatment, wherein he underwent a surgery.

This celebrity couple was rumoured to be dating for quite some time now. It was until the premiere of Ahan Shetty’s Tadap, Athiya and Rahul made their first red carpet public appearance. They even posed for photos with the Shetty family, making it official.
