Athiya Shetty shares a heart-touching message for her grandfather

Suniel Shetty’s father Veerapa Shetty passed away yesterday. The actor’s daughter, Athiya Shetty, on her Instagram account posted a picture of her childhood with her grandfather and also posted a heart-touching message for him.

She wrote, “And sometimes even a lifetime isn’t enough. Until we meet again. Thank you for being my grandfather. Hope you’re happy and at peace wherever you are. Love you Ajja, will miss you forever.”

Reportedly, the actress, who is in London shooting for her film ‘Mubarakan’, couldn’t be there for her grandfather’s last rites. The funeral of Veerapa Shetty took place today and was attended by many Bollywood celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Rohit Shetty, etc.
