Atlee REVEALS Thalapathy Vijay’s conversation just before signing Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan is winning hearts and how! It’s only been a week since Jawan released, but it has created a storm at the box office. In just one week, Jawan collected over Rs 600 crores at the global box office. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and others are enjoying the success of the mass actioner. At the Jawan success press conference, Shah Rukh Khan and the team got candid about Jawan.

Atlee talks about Thalapathy Vijay

Atlee, who has directed Jawan, recalled the conversation he had with Thalapathy Vijay before signing Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan. The filmmaker shared, “Me and Mr Thalapathy Vijay had a conversation. He asked me, ‘What are you going to do?’ and I told him, ‘I don’t know but I’m going to give my life to the film’”.

The filmmaker continued, “So, the day when sir (Shah Rukh Khan) said yes, I know it’s a blockbuster.” Well, the director-actor duo has delivered a massive hit. The film is expected to cross Rs 1000 crore mark at the global box office soon.

SRK has played the role of Vikram, as well as Azaad Rathore in the film. No doubt, he has delivered an impeccable performance. King Khan never fails to impress and Jawan is another proof of that.

Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Deepika, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Eijaz Khan, Sanya Malhotra, and Ridhi Dogra among others. Now that Jawan has released, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. The film is slated to release in December this year. At the event, SRK also opened up about his upcoming film. Apart from that, he also spoke about Deepika’s cameo and working with her in Jawan.
