‘Atrangi Re’: Akshay Kumar turns Shah Jahan; Sara Ali Khan says, “It can’t get more Atrangi than this”

Akshay Kumar is back-to-back shooting for his films. The superstar recently shared a quirky BTS video from his upcoming film ‘Atrangi Re’. Dressed as Shah Jahan, Akki is seen twirling in front of Taj Mahal.

Akshay’s ‘Atrangi Re’ co-star Sara Ali Khan also shared a picture of his new look on her Instagram handle.

Aanand L. Rai directorial ‘Atrangi Re’ stars Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush and Akshay Kumar. Earlier today surprising his fans with his new avatar from the film, Akshay took to his Instagram handle and shared a BTS video in which he can be seen twirling in front of the symbol of love Taj Mahal.

Akshay captioned it as, “Wah Taj!#AtrangiRe @aanandlrai @arrahman @saraalikhan95  @dhanushkraja  #HimanshuSharma  @tseries.official @cypplofficial #CapeOfGoodFilms(sic).”

Meanwhile, Sara also shared a picture of Akshay in his Shah Jahan get up posing in front of Taj Mahal with a rose in his hand. The actress captioned the picture as, “Because it can’t get more Atrangi than this ? Not Shah Jahan- Mr Kumar it is ? @akshaykumar(sic)”

‘Atrangi Re’ is touted to be a cross-cultural love story. Earlier speaking about the film, Aanand L Rai had told IANS, “I try to challenge myself with each and every film and bring something new to the table which the audiences can take back with them.”

Written by Himanshu Sharma, the film is scheduled to release in theatres next year.
