Audience will be surprised with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Raees’, says director Rahul Dholakia

Much anticipated for various reasons, actor Shah Rukh Khan‘s upcoming ‘Raees’ is all set to unveil its theatrical trailer today on the eve of the superstar’s 51st birthday. With lot of curiosity building up on it, the director of this action-thriller Rahul Dholakia has come up with an interesting detail from SRK’s character in the movie. According to him, the audience will be surprised to see Shah Rukh Khan playing a role with grey shades.

Talking about it to an agency, Rahul said, “There are a lot of grey shades to his (Shah Rukh’s) character. He is playing an interesting character. He has done a great job. He is brilliant in the film… people will be amazed to see him like this.”

“It’s a big film for me. One needs to do his best and I have given my best,” added the director.

Further, the ‘Parzania’ director was all praise for SRK whom he found to be a very humble person.

Rahul said, “He is very nice, sweet, humble and loving person. There is a reason why he is up there, it’s not because of the actor that he is but it is also to do with the person he is.”

‘Raees’ also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan (making her Bollywood debut) playing pivotal parts.

It is slated to release on January 26, 2017.
