Aww! The story of Alia Bhatt’s first meeting with Shah Rukh Khan is too cute

We are all awaiting the release of Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dear Zindagi’, for it promises to be a heart-warming tale of love and life. In the movie, Shah Rukh is playing a life mentor to the character of Alia, who suffers through heartbreaks.

However, do you know how the two met in real life, for the first time? It too is quite a cute tale.

Alia spilled the beans on the same, during a recent interview for ‘Dear Zindagi’.

On being asked when and how did she meet the superstar for the first time, and if she remembers it clearly, the chirpy actress said, “No I don’t, but I do remember that my dad’s friends came over who wanted to meet Shah Rukh. We went to his house and when he came, I had a sandwich in my mouth and I was just mesmerized. Strangely when I was shooting for ‘DEAR ZINDAGI’, my dad sent me the same picture and I showed it to Shah Rukh.”

Aww, isn’t that sweet?

‘Dear Zindagi’ is being directed by ‘English Vinglish’ fame Gauri Shinde, and is all set to hit the theatres on November 25. The movie also stars Angad Bedi, Kunal Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Ali Zafar in pivotal roles.
