‘Brahmastra’: Ayan Mukerji is mesmerised by the infinite beauty of Varanasi – view pics

Bollywood filmmaker Ayan Mukerji comes across as a very thinking and articulate individual. The director in his career has made some path-breaking films and is now awaiting his next release ‘Brahmastra’. This film stars Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles.

Ayan Mukerji, who made his Instagram debut recently shared a beautiful post and where he got the inspiration to make this film. The ‘Wake Up Sid’ director posted two pictures wherein in one he can be seen enjoying a lovely boat ride. In another picture, he can be seen looking out of the window. Ayan captioned the pictures as, “Varanasi my attempt with the Brahmāstra Trilogy to feature different places of India, and attempt to capture its infinite beauty #thesearchforbrahmastra.”

Incidentally, ‘Brahmastra’s first logo and first look were unveiled at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. It was done during the Kumbh festivities. The film for the first time will see the pairing of lovebirds i.e. Alia and Ranbir on the silver screen.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt is awaiting her next release ‘Kalank’. This periodical drama features an ensemble cast and is being helmed by Abhishek Varman. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Sanju’.
