We did not find it like elaichi: Ayan Mukerji on Kesariya song getting trolled for ‘love storiyan’ line

Brahmastra song Kesariya released on June 17. The song featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt created a lot of hype much before its release. The teaser of the song was released ahead of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding. Well, post the release of Kesariya, two words ‘Love Storiyan’ of the romantic track sparked meme fest. Many called the line ‘love storiyan’ is like ‘elaichi in biryani’. After Ranbir, now director Ayan Mukerji has reacted to the song getting trolled.

A video of Ayan commenting on it during an interview has gone viral on social media. When Ayan was asked about the trolling giving the reference of ‘elaichi in biryani’, he said, “We put it with a lot of love, we found it very interesting. We did not find it like elaichi, we thought it was a twist like bahut shakkar me thoda namak jab aata hai, uska ek maza, ek swaad hai”.

He added, “Because the film is a modern film and the lyrics of the song are so traditional and simple, and this would have been a fun twist. I still feel that in some time, people will actually start enjoying it even more.”
