After much wait, finally Brahmastra trailer dropped on June 15. Director Ayan Mukerji was on the project for many years. After being delayed for several times, Brahmastra: Part One Shiva is all set to hit the theatre soon. It stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles. Ayan has been raved for his vision and for creating his own Marvel with Brahmastra. From celebs to fans, everyone is stunned to see the never-seen-before trailer like Brahmastra.

In an interview, Ayan has revealed that he was angry with Ranbir as the latter chose to shoot Sanju between the prep of Brahmastra. Ayan was in the midst of pre-production of Brahmastra when Ranbir said yes to Rajkumar Hirani for Sanjay Dutt biopic.

The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani director told ETimes, “When I started the prep for Brahmastra, Ranbir was offered Sanju. He was supposed to start prep with me, but he chose to start Sanju first. I was so angry. I was happy that he was working with Raju Hirani but what about my project?”

He added, “But in hindsight, I’m glad Ranbir chose to work on Sanju because, a few years later, Sanju was shot, edited and ready for release and my pre-production hadn’t even completed. Had Ranbir waited for me, it would’ve been too long a wait.”

Brahmastra: Part One Shiva is releasing on September 9, 2022.
