Dream Girl 2: Ayushmann Khurrana tries to solve Bollywood problems with Ananya Panday in a hilarious video; release date announced

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana is back with the sequel to his 2019 film Dream Girl. This time he will be seen with Ananya Panday who is playing Khurrana’s love interest. The movie is releasing on June 29, 2023 on Eid. The release date announcement has been made by Ayushmann and Ananya with a hilarious video that will tickle your funny bones for sure.

The video opens with Ayushmann Khurrana in a clean-shaven look. The backdrop of the film is Mathura. The actor with his friends talks on the trending topics of Bollywood like movies not working at the box office, the Boycott culture, etc.

One of his friends say, “Bollywood ko nazar lag gyi hai.” (Bollywood has got evil’s eye). To which Ayushmann replies, “Haan bhai, DVD pe chala raha hoon fir bhi nhi chal rahi, isliye Mathura aaya hoon.” (Yes brother, that is why I am playing movie on DVD and still it is not working, hence came to Mathura.) He then tells them he is going to organise a ‘pooja’ for it. The actor calls Pooja for the date and we hear the famous Pooja’s voice that is of Ayushmann, which hints that he will be seen in the character of Pooja again in the second instalment as well.

Ayushmann then introduces the other cast of the film-Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Manoj Joshi, Seema Pahwa, Manjot Singh and Abhishek Banerjee. Towards the end comes Ananya Panday who introduces herself. Sharing the video, he captioned it, “Aapki Dream Girl phir se aa rahi hai, miliye Pooja se 29th June 2023 ki Eid par ❤️#DreamGirl2 in cinemas on 29th June 2023.”

The first instalment of the film starred Nushratt Bharuccha opposite Ayushmann.
