Ayushmann Khurrana on ‘Dream Girl’ becoming his biggest hit: I feel validated

Ayushmann Khurrana starrer ‘Dream Girl’ is continuing its winning streak on the box office and has emerged as the biggest hit of Ayushmann Khurrana’s career so far. The film has collected Rs 110.80 cr. India biz.in the second week which trends better than Ayushamnn Khurrana’s last releases.

Ecstatic about the overwhelming response which ‘Dream Girl’ has received Ayushmann Khurrana feels validated about the audience’s love. Talking about the same Ayushmann said, “It always feels great when your film is accepted by the public. It is phenomenal and a blockbuster. Feels great and I feel validated. Audience love is the best love.”

‘Dream Girl’ has been winning hearts all over with its quirky concept and elements of comedy. Ayushman Khurana’s perfectly expressed character is the selling point of the film as fans just cannot seem to get over his character.

Ayushmann is obviously thrilled with the appreciation that he has been receiving for his outstanding acting and his precision to choose the best scripts in town. “It has been a fantastic weekend for ‘Dream Girl’ and I’m thrilled with the response and love. The era of good content in here and audiences want to see the most disruptive, different content in every genre. I’m glad that people are connecting with the kind of cinema that I’m doing and it only motivates me to be braver with my film choices,” he said.

As an artist, Ayushmann wants to do the best films in every genre. “For me, ‘Dream Girl’ is a film that shows audiences what a clean family comedy should be. It is a solid entertainer that people can bring their entire family to the theatres. It is a paisa vasool movie in its truest sense. An actor like me always wants to entertain audiences in the best way possible and ‘Dream Girl’ gave me the opportunity to make people laugh this time after making them ponder and spark a debate with ‘Article 15’ earlier this year,” he said.

‘Dream Girl’ is directed by Raaj Shandilya, produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, and Ashish Singh. Dreamgirl has released all over and had totally emerged as a big hit for Ayushmann Khurrana.
