Ayushmann Khurrana: I am a ‘trained’ singer because I have sung in a ‘train’

Now this is something we did not know about Ayushmann Khurrana. We all are aware of the gifted talent that he has in his vocals. He is a fabulous singer and a fantabulous guitarist. His songs ‘Pani Da Rang’ and ‘Saadi Gaali Aaja’ has won hearts of millions. But hey! Did you know that he has sang in trains, quite a few times?

So we were at the song launch event of ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ wherein he narrated this episode from his life. Aysuhmann shared that he, along with his gang of musicians, used to sing and play music in train and collect money from the passengers. Along with some dholak and other instruments, Ayushmann used to entertain the passengers and ask for money. But the unbelievable is yet to come.

He further exclaimed that they used to make so much of money that their next trip to Goa used to get sponsored by this collection. Well, that’s the power of Ayushmann’s soulful voice. Summing up, he said, ‘I am a trained singer, because I have sung in a train’.

Following this, when asked whether he would sing in a train now, if given the opportunity, the handsome hunk went silent for a while with a cheeky grin on his face and said that on his recent abroad trip, he did sing in a metro there.
